Normally my Japanese teacher has very good English pronunciation.
The other day she was explaining that you could say "hanpantsu" to mean "shorts" because "han" means "half."
Except instead of half, she said harf.
And Ben and Corey and I stifled our laughter until we got into the hallway after class.
